Our Story
A Fusion of Cultures and Flavors
Pizza 64 was founded in 2010 by Roop and Raj Dhillon,
who moved from Punjab, India to Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Missing the vibrant, aromatic flavours of their homeland,
they identified a unique business opportunity: bring Punjabi cuisine to pizza—a beloved North American staple.
Rather than opening a traditional Indian restaurant, they chose to innovate by infusing Indian spices and ingredients into pizza.
Their first location featured distinctive menu items such as Tandoori Chicken Pizza, Paneer Pizza, and fresh cilantro-flavored pizzas.
This creative fusion quickly resonated with customers seeking authentic flavours in a familiar format.
Today, Pizza 64 operates 30+ locations across Canada and the United States. The Leduc location in the Suntree commercial area
is part of this family-owned franchise, maintaining the commitment to quality ingredients—California vine-ripened tomatoes,
Spanish olives and onions, real bacon strips, and trans-fat free dough made with purified water and enriched Canadian flour.
